Cactus bat woodcut
Plants utilize many different ways to spread pollen around, including the help of BATS! We always think of bees as pollinators but there are many animals that pollinate including lemurs, geckos, moths, ants, and more. I think I need to make a series of unique pollinators with these lesser long nosed bats as the first. The flowers of the Saguaro cactus bloom for just one night and the bats do a perfect job of sticking their aptly shaped long noses into the flowers spreading the pollen from plant to plant.
